Bowie Wireless Association, Inc. is non-profit 509(a)(2) organization focused on serving the community and expanding awareness and use of amateur radio.  We use the term Bowie Wireless as a short-hand way to refer to our organization.  We use the shortened term Bowie Wireless, bowiewireless.org, for the domain as this is easier to type than the full name of our organization.

Funding comes from dues from members as well as donations.  Our EIN # is 92-0955137

ARRL Clubs - Bowie Wireless Association 

To train licensed radio operators using HF, VHF/UHF frequencies for the Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) and the National Weather Service SkyWarn  in Prince George’s County, MD.  To further train in the Incident Command System (ICS), for service in conjunction with various agencies in the city, county and state.  Also, to supply communications to local community events and further the Amateur Radio hobby.
